I was recently buying groceries at Walmart when these cute little black packages caught my eye in the skincare section. If you’ve read my blog about face masks, then you know I adore skincare products made with charcoal! The greatest thing about charcoal is that it is all natural which means you’ll have beautiful skin minus all of the harsh chemicals. Dirt & oil can make our pores appear bigger. Charcoal pulls the dirt and oil out of your pores, making them smaller and less visible. Do you struggle with oily, acne-prone skin like I do? Charcoal is your new best friend. It is great for removing excess oil and clearing acne. Here is what I think about the YES TO TOMATOES products.

YES to tomatoes clear skin detoxifying charcoal facial wipes ( $5.99 )

The packaging is excellent. They have a little pop off top that stays tightly closed which keeps the wipes moist. Having a package that doesn’t close good will result in dried out wipes and who wants that?! The package comes with 30 wipes. The wipes are black which is pretty cool. They have a rough texture, but not rough enough to irritate your skin. It is the perfect texture to gently exfoliate your skin and to remove ALL of the makeup. I have never found a wipe that I could use in the morning because most wipes make my skin oily and they leave behind a sticky residue. These do not do that! I was very pleased when I realized that I could use these morning and night without the fear of getting super oily. My skin felt a little bit tingly. That means the ingredients are working like they are supposed to. Tingly skin usually means that the product cleaned your skin well. I can’t find anything that I dislike about these! It was definitely worth a try and I like the price. I will be purchasing again!

Yes to tomatoes clear skin detoxifying charcoal paper mask ( $2.50 )

Once again, the packaging is great. The mask was a sleek black sheet. It was way too big for my face as you can see in my scary kissy face picture below. I did the best I could with the size. Other than that issue, I love everything about it. It says to leave it on for 10 minutes. I had it on for about 5 minutes and then it started tingling. I liked that feeling because I knew it was working. Once I removed it my skin felt super refreshed and soft. My pores didn’t seem any smaller, but they did look & feel a lot cleaner! It didn’t make my skin oily or sticky. It actually mattified my skin!  Walmart had these masks 2 for $5. I will be purchasing more of these!

This face mask was fun and effective! I can’t wait to try more of the YES to tomato products in the future. If you’ve used these before or if you decide to try them out after reading this blog, please let me know your first impressions.
