Sally Hansen Airbrush Sun Instant Tanning Mousse Review

I love the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Leg Makeup • Sally Hansen • $12.99  so when I saw the new Sally Hansen Mousse at Walgreens, I was really excited to give it a try. It claims to dry in a minute and last up to 7 days.  Here’s what I think about it:

I never noticed a smell which is a great thing. The mousse was a little bit runny, but not enough to bother me or to make a big mess. It didn’t dry in “a minute”, but it did eventually dry. I felt a little sticky and it rubbed off on everything. I applied it at night and when I woke up the next morning I had a few white streaks and white spots where it had come off while I was sleeping. The two color options were medium and dark. I chose medium.  The color was pretty. Not as deep and dark as Fake Bake Flawless Self-Tanning Liquid & Professional Mitt • Fake Bake • $26.50 though. It stayed on for a minimum of 2 days. I fell in love with the fact that it didn’t wear off in patches. It seemed to have gradually faded back to my natural skin color. That is a major plus since I have never found a self tanner that doesn’t have the dreaded, ugly wear off. Overall, I think this product is good for the price. Wasn’t my favorite, but definitely not the worst one I’ve ever tried. It works best for me as a quick tint of color. I wouldn’t apply this product if I were needing a long-lasting tan. I don’t recommend applying it with your hands like it says to do on the bottle. I did it with my hands and it stained them even after I tried washing them immediately. I recommend applying it with a mitt like the one below. It works so good for applying mousse tanners.
